Broad River Electric Cooperative is making a change!
Beginning November 4, 2019, in order to access all online/smart device accounts, Broad River Electric members will need to set up a new online account and download the new SmartHub app.
At that time, you'll simply go to the App Store on your mobile device and look for the SmartHub logo. Once the app is installed, select Broad River Electric Cooperative as your provider and follow the set-up instructions.
In an effort to make our members' lives easier, Broad River Electric will be offering the SmartHub account management app.
IMPORTANT THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW:
- Offices will be closed on October 31 and November 1. Our crews will still be on call to respond to outages.
- From October 30 after 5 p.m. until 8 a.m., November 4, account management and bill payment will be unavailable.
- As of November 4, members will use SmartHub for all online/smart device account management.
- Beginning November 4, members will need to set up a new online account and download the new SmartHub app to access the SmartHub features.
- Until October 30 at 5 p.m., online and smart device payments can still be made through MyEnergy online.
- The convenience fee for remote payments (over the phone, online) will be $3.95 per transaction (limit $500 per transaction).
- Mailing address for payments is now P.O. Box 2269, Gaffney, SC 29342. Please make this change with your bank or online payment service.
- PrePay members are required to register for SmartHub. Members participating in the PrePay program must register for SmartHub to pay their bills and receive notification about their accounts.
