Anita Whitney has served on the Board of Trustees since 1993. She serves as a Tax Advisor with HR Block and as the Student Activities Coordinator and head volleyball coach at the University of South Carolina’s Union campus. She represents Broad River Electric on the Central Electric Power Cooperative Board of Directors. She has earned the NRECA certificates for a Credentialed Cooperative Director and Board Leadership and Director Gold Credential. She is a graduate of Spartanburg Community College and Columbia College, where she earned her masters degree in athletic coaching.
