Broad River Electric is evaluating a smart thermostat program through Optiwatt – and we need your help! It’s a free, voluntary program for residential members who have an ecobee, Nest or Honeywell smart thermostat.
The Optiwatt pilot program automatically adjusts your thermostat heating and cooling around the peak periods (Summer: April 1 – October 31 from 3 – 6 p.m./Winter: November 1 – March 31 from 6 – 9 a.m.) using weather information, the co-op’s rate structure and your comfort preferences.
You’re in control. You can adjust the temperature, override an adjustment or unenroll from the program at any time.
Members who enroll by November 1 will also have the opportunity to be entered into two separate $250 gift card prize drawings (tied to enrollment and survey completion).
