Money for college

Broad River Electric Cooperative will award two $1,000 scholarships to eligible high school seniors at our 2023 Annual Meeting on April 27. The random drawing will take place at the close of our business meeting, which begins at 6 p.m. Applicants do not have to be present to win.

Please complete, download, and print the PDF form and submit it during early voting and registration at our headquarters from April 25 to April 27.

The rules

Students entered to win a $1,000 scholarship must be currently enrolled in the 12th grade and scheduled to graduate high school in 2023. Applicants must be the child or grandchild of a Broad River Electric member.

Incomplete applications will be disqualified. Selected students must show an official acceptance letter to an institution of higher education, and Broad River Electric Cooperative reserves the right to verify eligibility of scholarship winners before funds are released. Funds will be paid to the student’s accredited institution.
