Education grants for bright ideas: Apply online by July 31, 2022

We know there are a lot of creative and innovative teachers in our local schools. Unfortunately, they don’t always have the funding they need to carry out their best-laid plans in the classroom.

That’s why Broad River Electric Cooperative and Broad River Charities provide education grants to teachers and schools in our service territory through our Bright Ideas program. Certified K-12 teachers in Cherokee, Spartanburg and Union Counties are eligible to apply for grants of up to $800. All projects must be approved by the school’s principal prior to submitting the application.

Applying for Bright Ideas grants is easy. Visit broadriverelectric.com/BIG and click on the Apply Now button to fill out the online application.

Grant applications will be evaluated by volunteer educators in our service territory. Winners will be presented with their funds at the beginning of the upcoming school year.

The deadline to apply is July 31, 2022
