Service Request Form
Whether you want to establish residential or business service, report a broken street light or electricity theft, or have a tree trimmed away from the power lines on your property, you can do it all with this email form.
To set up residential or business service, please follow the hot link, then print out and fill in the Application for Service. Please mail it to the address on the form.
For other service requests, just fill in the information below, check the appropriate boxes, and click the Send button at the bottom. We'll get back to you within 24 hours.
If you're planning to plant a new tree or install a water line, you also can call the Co-op office to ask that we send someone out to mark the location of the underground power lines on your property. Hitting or cutting an electrical cable underground while you are digging could be hazardous: power lines carry live electricity, and coming into direct contact with one can cause severe injury.
Residents of Cherokee County can call 489-5737. Residents outside Cherokee County, can call our toll free number: 1-866 OUR COOP (1-866 687-2667). We require 72 hours' (three days') notice for all these locate requests. Broad River Electric Cooperative is not a member of PUPS (Palmetto Utility Protection Service).
