Comedy Show Raises $20K for Local Agencies

Broad River Electric Cooperative’s benefit comedy show “Beef Stew for the Brain to Fight Senior Hunger” featuring iconic comedian James Gregory raised $20,000 for local agencies that deliver meals to elderly and shut-in clients.
The funds will be distributed among four agencies in Cherokee, Union and Spartanburg Counties more

If you own a manufactured home -- single wide or double wide, built between 1976 and 2005 -- and you’re a member of Broad River Electric Cooperative, you’re eligible to apply for a roof retrofit.

If selected, participants will receive an energy efficient roof retrofit installed over their existing roof. This will be completed at no charge.
